In a nutshell...

I'm a dad, husband and entrepreneur who fell in love with the Andorran mountains. Spending hours out there exploring new routes, learning from fellow peers and sharing my love for Nature is priceless to me. On a side note, I'm the proud FKT holder of Els 2900's route, that links the seven highest peaks of Andorra in a row (68K, 6,700m of elevation gain).

Some wild challenges up for 2014...

My project "Als Cims" — "To the Summits" in Catalan — is simple: to tag all Andorran primary peaks before the end of the year... 91 summits. I'll update the map below after each new tag and share my routes and anecdotes on Medium.

... as well as some crazy ultras!

I put some mountain races on my bucket list. All alpine, with a lot of vertical. Another good excuse to travel and meet like-minded people! Here's my schedule for 2014!

My contribution to the community

I had the chance to learn from truly inspiring people within the outdoor community. The two following projects are my way to give back.

Pokapu. Mind-blowing lines set up by outdoor enthusiasts.

We want to build the most comprehensive database of iconic routes all around the world. To empower people to travel overseas and explore foreign myths helped by local knowledge and expertise. A community of adventurers that meet and exchange over a common passion for the great outdoor. More...

Els 2900 Alpine Run

Els 2900 Alpine Run. A race like no other.

Inspired by our FKT on Els 2900 route, we customized our track to add more ridge running and off track segments. Be ready to tackle one of the most incredible alpine route ever made for a runner. It's hard and steep. Think averaging 1,000m of vertical variation every 5K. Yup, you read it right... Want to know more? Check us out!

Amazing brand making amazing gear.

Changing conditions up in the mountains require the best gear available. I quickly became a merino addict but was still looking for THE gear that suits my needs. Here comes ashmei. With "performance, quality and style" as their motto you get value for the money. I'm psyched to be one of their ambassadors for 2014! And to share the product I love the most!

Merino + Carbon compression

From a mountain runner perspective...

I use my kit it every single day. Wash it on Mondays (rest day) and back to training the next day!

Mens LS Merino Jersey: I love the fit. As always, the attention to detail is obvious. Classy design, on par with Rapha. All this make the first contact with the product awesome. It has been really great to use on low temperatures (-5°C to 5°C range) but I’m experiencing some discomfort with the heat (since I'm wearing an hydration pack). However this should be fixed with the upcoming Merino + Carbon Jersey!

Mens 2IN1 Short: The merino fabric is really comfy and just as compressive as it should be. It sure differs from the classic 5" inseam running short, but in a good, innovative way! I think it is an fantastic piece of gear for mountain running, especially for late Winter/early Spring or Fall. The fabric dries pretty fast within the -5°C to 15°C temperature range, regardless of the time spent out there (logged 4+ hours runs without any issue). Kudos for that.

Mens Compression Sock: Maybe one of the best surprises so far. Compression socks are key to me when it comes to racing 40+ hours in the mountains, and I was a bit skeptical to use a merino compression at first. What performance on the long run? Well, turns out the Merino + Carbon fabric associated to a correctly graduated compression and specific calf and shoe sizes is... amazing. Über comfy, no blisters and great temperature regulation despite logging multiple long runs in the snow. A must!
